Who We Are
The Gambian Community of Columbus was founded in 2012 by a group of Gambian immigrants seeking to build a supportive network for families in central Ohio. What started as small gatherings has grown into a vibrant faith-centered organization with more than 500 community members.
We serve the Gambian-American community through programs rooted in Islamic values, cultural preservation, and mutual support. Our work spans prayer services, educational workshops, youth development, and community outreach.
Together, we maintain our heritage while building a thriving future for generations to come in Columbus.
